Dr Mahendra Patel , Ph.D.from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and Dr.Sci. from University of Pierre and Marie Curie has unique experience and knowledge in multidisciplinary fields, namely in Paper Technology, Mineral and Chemical Industries, by serving in Research laboratories, Industries and now in Industry Associations (IPPTA, FICCI, IARPMA).
He has recently authored following books:
- Operations & Recycling in Paper Mills with Micro and Nano Concepts
- Minerals in Paper Manufacturing
- Micro and Nanotechnology in Paper Manufacturing
He has also written books for PIRA INTERNATIONAL U.K. including "Developments in Antibacterial Paper(Industry Insight)" and "Developments in Tissue Converting and Packaging".
He was Member, Editorial Board / Advisory Board of X-Ray Spectrometry (U.K.) and Silicates industrials (Belgium) and is currently on the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Chemical Technology; InPaper and PaperIndia.
He was amongst the 2009-2010 Finalists for the "Research Achievement of the Year" award by Pulp and Paper International (RISI).
He has received several awards including Malaviya Award from Indian Ceramic Society and in Engineering & Technology from Orissa Vigyan Academy.
